Mike Tyson is one of the epochal figures in boxing. Probably the last true global boxing superstar, Tyson is as known today for his epic meltdowns as he once was for being one of the most dominating fighters to ever enter the ring.

In his life he’s faced soaring heights, becoming the youngest heavyweight champ ever.  Tyson won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout – twelve of them in the first round.  Tyson has also faced withering lows – often brought on by his own personal demons.

Tyson is now appearing in a one-man Broadway show about his life – which would seem strage if it was any fighter other than Tyson.  The man formerly known as Kid Dynamite appeared on the ESPN show Pardon the Interruption and appeared almost philosophical.  He was at times funny and poignant.  He also appears like he might fly of the handle at any moment.

The former champ talks, STDs, Brad Pitt, broken hearts and broken dreams.  Tyson is many things, dull is certainly not one of them.
