Occasionally we wonder: “How is 14-time Olympic gold medalist swimming mega-star Michael Phelps livin’ these days?”  The answer is pretty much always: “Pretty dern good.”

Recently, word has been circulating that the 6’4″ half-man half-awesome Olympian is relocating to more pastoral settings – and has put his 4,000-square-foot Baltimore condo up for sale.  A few sites have tracked down some images of the three bedroom, five bathroom urban condo and we have them here:  It’s like cribs for Olympians, but with pictures!  And trust us, this is EXACTLY how every Olympian lives.  Every single one of them.

Not far from the National Aquarium. Natch.

Reports place Phelps purchasing the condo, which is located in Fells Point in the historic Baltimore Harbor area, for just under $1.7 million in 2007 – BEFORE he won his record 8 gold medals in Beijing.  Looks like somebody was feeling pretty confident!

No word on the listing price Phelps is asking for his place, but other units in the building have recently been listed for between $1.05-1.45 million.

The home has four floors of hardwood floors and exposed brick and beams.  Possibly the best selling point though – the sweet rooftop terrace giving a commanding view of the Baltimore downtown and harbor area.  Yep, Phelps is indeed livin’ pretty dern good.
