There he is… THERE!!! It’s the Abominable Snowman, get him!
Looking like a cross between the Abominable Snowman and the dudes from Daft Punk, snowboarder William Hughes was caught riding in the Rhône-Alpes region of south-eastern France by filmaker Jacob Sutton. The project was actually Sutton’s brainchild, created as an experimental take on alternate lighting.
It wasn’t all fun and games though. The shoot was done over three nights in -25 degree Celsius temperatures. The suit was created just for this project by electrical engineer John Spatcher and everything was shot on Red Epics. As for Sutton, when he’s not chasing phantoms in the French countryside he is doing shoots for clients like Hermès, Burberry and The New York Times. Not a bad gig.
